Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli believes the company will ultimately concentrate on making cutting-edge free-to-play titles, and is meanwhile set to announce its first foray into cloud gaming. "[What] we’re really trying to do now – as an initiative going forward – is to try and increase the quality of the free-to-play market," Yerli told NowGamer, adding "We want to release triple-A free-to-play games, going forward."
Crytek's Korean studio is currently working on free-to-play shooter Warface (pictured). Yerli confirmed that he envisions Crytek's F2P games being supported by micropayments. Crytek UK developing Homefront 2 (2014 release projected).

Crytek UK, formerly known as Free Radical Design, created the multiplayer portion of Crysis 2. FRD was the developer of the TimeSplitters series, Second Sight, and Haze.
"We see Homefront as a really strong universe that has a lot of potential and that has been expertly created and marketed by THQ," said Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli. "We believe that bringing our level of quality, creativity and production values to the next Homefront title, creates an opportunity for both THQ and Crytek to deliver a truly blockbuster game.

Official Playstation Magazine Italy claims Crytek close to announcing TS4

According to the September edition of the Official Playstation Magazine Italy, Crytek are supposedly close to announcing the highly anticipated follow-up to PS2 title TimeSplitters: Future Perfect, now rumored to be TimeSplitters 4.
Free Radical Design were reportedly toying with the idea of resurrecting the fabled TimeSplitters franchise before Crytek swooped in and acquired the talented development house in 2009.
The multiplatform title is allegedly utilizing the spectacularly beautiful CryEngine 3, ensuring everything glistens with a high definition sparkle – a 2012 launch is the most likely scenario. The article kicks off with a history of Free Radical. Everything we know about was repeated there. It then goes into why the company didn't push for TS4 to be released.
"People were pleased but we were starting to worry where the money was coming from for the next project," says Craig Collins, one of the 3D artists who worked on Future Perfect, talking about the studio reaction to it's release in 2005. "There's a big gap between a game being finished and game scores being revealed," he adds of it's critical success.
"Much like other sequels, Future Perfect was made because TS2 did so well, and we still had loads of ideas," said Tristan Reidford, Future Perfect's lead artist. "Unfortunately, Future Perfect didn't perform as well as expected in the shops"..."then Battlefront 3 came calling.
